Brief Tour Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Paro (2,200m)
Arrive in Paro, check into hotel, rest and prepare for trek.
Day 2 – Hike to Taktsang Monastery (3,120m)
Visit Taktsang Monastery. A steep hike (~900m gain) through pine forests with sacred cliffside views.
Day 3 – Paro to Shingkarab/Shana Camp (≈2,850m)
Drive and trek along Paro Chu valley, gradual ascent through forests and river trails.
Day 4 – Shingkarab to Thangthangkha (3,610m)
Long alpine trek with views of snow peaks and yak herder camps.
Day 5 – Thangthangkha to Jangothang (4,040m)
Reach the base of Jomolhari. Stunning mountain amphitheater.
Day 6 – Acclimatization at Jangothang (4,040–4,600m+)
Hike to Jomolhari Tsho/Choechen lakes (~4,600–4,900m) for altitude adaptation.
Day 7 – Jangothang to Soe (≈3,800m)
Cross high ridges and descend via Nyile La pass (~4,890m).
Day 8 – Soe Yaktsa to Thonbhu Shong (≈4,000m)
Remote highland trails through yak pastures and traditional settlements.
Day 9 – Bamerpa to Gunitsawa (≈2,800m) → Paro (2,200m)
Descend through forested valleys and exit trekking zone.
Day 10 – Departure from Paro
Transfer to airport with unforgettable Himalayan memories.
